Panchakarma

Panchakarma is a word often quoted as synonymous with Ayurveda among the general public. Panchakarma means five therapeutic forms in simple terms. To be precise, they are cleansing modalities that require careful and systematic preparatory, operative, and post-operative procedures. These are intensive and individualized tailor-made therapies in the mode of administration, hence require close medical supervision and hospital care.

Our hospitals are well equipped to provide these classical Ayurvedic treatment modalities to the patients approaching us largely for the treatment of diseases and also for rejuvenation and restoration of health and well-being.

Panchakarma includes Vamana (therapeutically induced emesis), Virechana (therapeutically induced purgation), Vasti (medicated enema), Nasya (cleansing via nasal route ) and Raktamoksha (therapeutic blood-letting).
